In this game the difficulty is more "balanced" than it was in the 2 prequels. This is my results after I had a go at KOF´96 today:
Priest: Score: 259,800. , Characters: Kim, Mai and Kyo, Stage: "The three bosses stage" Round two lost to Krauser. , Played on: AES , Difficulty level: 4.
I had a couple of "straight" fights and one or two perfect round. Used mainly Kim as my first choice fighter.
Krauser is in my opinion the hardest of the three bosses (Geese, Mr Big and Krauser).

I am glad this game came up. Allows me to put off my Blazing Star Challenge - and I am a bit too tired to play that game. It's lucky I'm Ralf at the moment. I will just beat everyone by just using him!

Well my tactic of beating the game just using Ralf worked for a while but then came unstuck when I had to use other members of my team. (why can't they all be Ralf? - The Ralf team!)
I won the first 8 fights as Ralf - I wish I could have got the ninth because I would have got an extra straight (I lost to Ralf!). My normal team is Ralf, Athena and Terry but I felt like going Psycho Soldier for a while.
Anyone who is playing AES version needs to be aware that the difficuly (and all options) reset every go - really annoying. I remember KOF 95 doing this too!

lol. I dunno. I haven't really played as Clark before. I actually chose him cos I thought he would be the same as Ralf, but I couldn't make him do the same stuff. I should practice as him first. I have heard he is similar. Also don't forget he doesn't have a bandana and he wears sunglasses - 2 major differences there!

I've worked all week on this one. I've chosen the tag team Yuri, King and Ralf. I find Ralf is effective against all the Sakazakis and Robert.
My total points 185,800. My team was defeated in Stage 7 (two more would have gotten me to the boss stage), which in this random case was King's Penthouse.
